Things turn chaotic at an amusement park when Dr. Tofu accidentally invites the Tendo and Saotome families to come and play.
Relation to the Previous EpisodeEdit
To the Amusement Park!Edit
As Dr. Tofu tends to the bushes outside his clinic, a salesman comes by and pesters him to subscribe to another newspaper, although Dr. Tofu refuses as he's already subscribed to four papers already. Eventually the salesman offers Tofu two free tickets to the amusement park. Suddenly Kasumi appears and Dr. Tofu goes into his usual love-struck state. The salesman quickly notices this and asks Kasumi that, as a friend of Dr. Tofu, if she'd like the tickets. Kasumi accepts the offer, not before O.K.ing it with Dr. Tofu. With the tickets taken, the salesmen gets the suggestible Doctor to sign on the paper confirming his subscription, however, the salesmen soon begins to regret this as Dr. Tofu begins signing on the salesman's balding forehead.
When Kasumi returns to the Tendo Dojo she explains about the tickets to everyone else, with a mixed reaction. Akane immediately wonders if it'll be alright as Dr. Tofu only invited Kasumi, but Kasumi reassures her sister that it will be more fun as a big group. Ranma then reads that one ticket allows entrance for six people, which is the total of everyone on in the room (excluding P-chan). With this in mind, Soun calmly notes that it would be nice to go out as a family once in a while, a statement which Genma also agrees.
Despite trying to act adult about the whole situation, Soun and Genma can't hide their excitement when Kasumi suggests they go this Sunday. Unfortunately, at that moment, Happosai walks in and asks what's going, leaving everyone silent as they'd all completely forgot about him. Akane tries to explain the situation, but soon notices the old lecher's stealing her underwear again and begins chasing him to get them back. As Akane continues chasing Happosai, the others decide that they'll leave him.
By next Sunday, everyone busily prepares to head off to the amusement park before Happosai returns to find out where they're going. Some time later, after deciding which glasses to wear, Dr. Tofu hears Kasumi's voice and rushes out to meet her (forgetting his wallet in the process), but is surprised to see the other Tendos and Saotomes have joined them.
Heading to the Race TrackEdit
As Ranma, Genma and Soun enjoy themselves on the various rides at the park, the Tendo sisters and Dr. Tofu walk around and enjoy some of the less intense attractions. Whilst on the Ferris wheel, Akane apologises to Dr. Tofu about having the whole family coming along and bothering him, but Dr. Tofu tells her he's glad that everyone's having a good time before suggesting that they get some food when he finish on the Ferris wheel.
Whilst waiting for Dr. Tofu to get the food, Akane wonders if there's some way Kasumi and Dr. Tofu can be brought together. Meanwhile, Dr. Tofu comes across Shampoo serving some food at a Cat Café stall. After mentioning that he's here with the Tendos and Saotomes, Dr. Tofu realises that he doesn't have his wallet with him, but Shampoo reassures him not to worry so long as he takes her to Ranma. Dr. Tofu agrees as he looks down as Mousse (in his duck form) furiously quacks at him.
Akane is less-than happy as Shampoo clings onto Ranma's arm, just then, Soun and Genma return from fighting each other in an arcade game (although the pair continue arguing over the result). With everyone here, Kasumi asks Nabiki to help in unpacking the lunch, but Nabiki is shocked to find Happosai hid in the basket and ate everything! Immediately the old lecher is met with evil glares from everyone, causing Happosai to begin crying whilst explaining that he wanted to come too, so hid in the lunch. Kasumi attempts to make Happosai feel better by saying that it was their fault, but this doesn't stop Ranma, Genma and Soun getting revenge by punching Happosai into the floor so he can eat dirt.
Not wanting to cry over spilt milk, Ranma asks who has any money to buy food instead, but Genma, Soun and Dr. Tofu have none while Nabiki only has enough for the train fare back home. After arguing amongst themselves, the group fall to the floor from hunger, when suddenly another pair of park visitors walk past and mention a contest where the grand prize is a complimentary full-course meal for two.
As Soun and Genma run off to find out more, Nabiki takes out a leaflet which explains about the Go-Carts the other visitors mentioned. The leaflet reveals the track is a one kilometre circuit whilst the carts are pretty small, with not much power and designed more for female drivers. While Nabiki and Akane are driven on by "girl power", Shampoo thinks to herself that the full-course meal will be perfect for her and Ranma. Meanwhile, Dr. Tofu comments that the Carts will be too small for him, prompting Kasumi to ask Dr. Tofu if he'll teach her how to drive, much to Akane and Nabiki's shock.
Some time passes and everyone but Dr. Tofu prepares for the race to start, as the announcer reminds the contestants that the winner will receive 100,000¥, along with the full-course dinner. While Akane thinks about she'll use the dinner for Dr. Tofu and Kasumi, Ryoga (disguised as an engineer) looks on and tells himself that he'll help Akane win from the sidelines. Just then Ranma appears in her female from, having easily seen through Ryoga's disguise. As Ranma brags to Ryoga about the "huge advantage" she has, a girl with dark blue hair and green overalls appears and warns Ranma that no matter what "advantage" she has, the race won't be as easy as she thinks. The girl takes her leave and Shampoo runs up to Ranma to ask who she was. Another engineer explains that the girl is called Rinko and races here every week, and holds the lap record. Knowing this, Ranma notes that things just got more interesting, while Mousse looks whilst thinking to himself that he will bury Ranma today.
And the Winner Is...Edit
The race soon prepares to start and everyone makes a strong start, apart from Akane who has her Cart put in reverse and accidentally backs into one of the crash barriers before setting off. While Nabiki and Kasumi overtake Soun and Genma, Rinko thinks to herself how well Ranma's doing keeping up with her, but wonders how long she can maintain the pace. Elsewhere, Happosai busily terrifies some other female drivers with his panty-covered Cart, whilst Shampoo continues overtaking in a determined effort to get the prize for her and Ranma.
Akane, meanwhile, slowly makes her way around the circuit and notices all the already disqualified contestants. At the same time, Ryoga finds he's lost sight of Akane as he someone has ended up in the pits with park staff. Back with Ranma, and she uses an opportunity at a hairpin turn to overtake Rinko. Extremely irritated, Rinko speeds up and begins banging into the back of Ranma's Cart, demanding she get out of way before she pushes her out. At the same time Akane finds herself caught up to Shampoo. Having spotted Akane, Shampoo begins ramming her in an attempt to force Akane to retire from the race. As the pair begin fiercely hitting each other and speeding up, they pass Mousse and sent him spinning out of control before knocking Soun and Genma out of the way whilst narrowly avoiding Nabiki and Kasumi.
After getting slightly bored with the girls he's already following, Happosai catches up with Ranma and begins pestering her instead. As Rinko becomes more irate, Shampoo arrives and slams into the back of her, demanding she get out of the way. Meanwhile, Ryoga has found the track and has just passes Mousse, who has just finished repairing his Cart. However, when Mousse rejoins the race his repairs have made the Cart insanely fast and he begins pushing everyone else (apart from Soun, Nabiki and Kasumi) closer and closer to Ranma and Happosai.
While Ranma notices the convoy behind her, Happosai is still preoccupied with winning and pulls out a Happo-Fire Burst bomb to deal with the others. Ranma quickly grabs the old lechers arm and as they pair argue they don't notice how much off course they've gone and subsequently crash into a water, causing everyone in the immediate vicinity to crash. After regaining consciousness, Ranma and Akane cheer on Kasumi and Nabiki who are now in the lead. With no other obstacles, Kasumi easily crawls over the finishing line, with Nabiki in a close second. Meanwhile Rinko is staring at the animals in the crashed cars in confusion.
Later that day, Kasumi treats everyone to a full meal. Akane apologises as the meal was meant to be just her (Kasumi) and Dr. Tofu's, but Kasumi reassures her by commenting that food always taste better in a group. Seeing how happy the two of them are, Akane gives up arguing and enjoys herself, whilst Kasumi gives the love-struck Dr. Tofu another chicken leg.
