- This episode reveals the names of two more background characters: Taro and Hanako (the boy and girl disciplined by the Enforcers for eating together).
- Taro being voiced by Matt Hill in the dub is ironic considering he previously voiced Pantyhose Taro in the english version of the last season.
- In Japanese, Masahiro Anzai replaces You Yoshimura in the part of Maomolin. On the English side, Angela Costain returns to the role of Nabiki Tendo after being absent from the show since season five's Sasuke's "Mission: Improbable". From Bonjour, Furinkan! to Akane's Unfathomable Heart, she was doubled by her sister Elaina Wotten-Costain while the former was attending flight school.
