The surname Ono is a very common family name in Japan. It is a customary habit to refer to someone with a mild personality as "Tofu." This is because the foodstuff tofu is so mild as to be nearly tasteless. This does not turn up in the Viz translations simply because a full explanation is difficult to do in a comic. It would disrupt the flow of the story too badly. Now, the editors of this Wiki is free to leave its users floundering about in ignorance, or they can choose to alleviate it. - As I pointed out in the editing history I requested you provide a citation backing up your claim, which you didn't hence the page lock. Additionally, after checking the Kanji for Dr. Tofu it does contain the characters for "East Wind Axe" as per the current description.
