The Japanese Nanniichuan Arc is the 16th story arc covered in the Ranma ½ manga, spanning three chapters. This arc was included in volume 8 of the Weekly Shōnen Sunday tankōbon and Volume 7 of the Viz Media tankōbon.
Having learnt from Ryoga of a fabled Japanese Nannīchuan (spring of drowned man), Ryoga and Ranma follow the map's directions to the spring, only to discover that it is now underneath Furinkan High's female changing room.
Undeterred, Ranma attempts multiple schemes to infiltrate the locker room, with little success. Eventually Ranma engages in a fight Ryoga over his antics, ultimately resulting in what appears to be the spring erupting from beneath the locker room. Unfortunately for Ranma, he learns that the spring has since closed, leaving the janitor to deal with the water-pipe that Ranma broke.
