The Inn in the anime.
The Doll Inn is a traditional ryokan (rural resort) located in the mountains which the Saotomes and Tendos visited for a family vacation. The name of the Inn is derived from a doll that sits in the main hallway. Given the Inn's location there are many rocky outcrops and natural hot springs found in the immediately area, along with a large woodland which surrounds the entire Inn.
Rooms in the Inn are decorated in traditional style with tatami flooring and fusuma doors. Utilising the hot springs in the area, guests are also able to enjoy these within the confounds of the Inn itself, the springs are also divided by gender.
