Trivia[]
- In this episode, Ranma's classmates find out about his curse. In the manga it was revealed way back during Mousse's introduction, which was depicted during the events of Enter Mousse! The Fist of the White Swan. It's unknown why this choice was made.
- Ranma reveals his love for Akane to which is revealed to the entire school.
- The referee from A Tear in a Girl-Delinquent's Eye? The End of the Martial Arts Rhythmic Gymnastics Challenge! returns to judge the kendo match in this episode. Her voiced is now supplied by Cathy Weseluck instead of Janyse Jaud.
- Two of Mariko's attacks are shout outs to the Dragon Ball franchise, namely Son Goku's Nyo-bi (Power Pole) his rider Kinto-un (Flying Nimbus). There was a lampshade hung on this in the manga version to which Ranma retorts "Who's comic is this!?" This lampshade was not featured in the anime.
